16660 was introduced...when?

My 16660 has a 64xxxxx serial, dating it to 1980. Some books mention 1978 as introduction year, others 1980.

Does anybody know this FOR SURE?

Meaning: 16660 Sea-Dweller was introduced in 1980.

Meaning 2: I have just bought the first production Sea-Dweller w/sapphire crystal, 3035 machine and transitional dial, being serial number 64XXXXX.

Meaning 3: I am extremely thrilled.

meaning 4: EXTREMELY THRILLED!!
