The watch was bought by me last week in Las Vegas. I am NOT the buyer at the auction and have paid a lot more than the auction price for this piece. Just to make sure that no one gets the wrong idea about me, the sales thread will be closed shortly. I do not wish to act as a greedy watch seller in a forum that I enjoy so much.

Matthias, thanks for the information. I guess I will have to hold on to this watch for some time and wait for it to influence on the pricing. It is good to know that the one bought by Dowling went for appr. USD 20.000 :-)
