iPod classic wird nicht von iTunes erkannt

ich hab gerade auch mal was aus den Tiefen des www versucht:

"I defeated the dreaded error 1437. after long pointless phone calls 2 apple i managed 2 get my ipod into disk mode (by pressing the menu and center button releasing menu after seeing the apple and pressing play continuing to hold the center button). I then unpluged the ipod and held down the center and menu button turning off my ipod. i then repluged my ipod and held down the center and menu button till i heard a click released and pressed the buttons again. this brought be back to the apple screen i then let go of menu and pressed play. itunes instanly regonized my ipod and asked me if i wanted to restore my ipod, and bingo! a succeful restore. its good to have my ipod back i hope this works for you."
