you should not be complaining about US gasprices, in the Netherlands they are paying more than double that. We are still privileged in the US. I was back in Germany 3 weeks ago and needed nearly 150 US$ to fill my car's gastank. That is expensive. I got so shocked that I only filled it up half...

you are quite right on our gasprices! I'm not sure how much a gallon is in liters, but we have a gasprice of around € 1,59 p/ltr. So I pay almost 100 euro's for a full tank ... but, european cars also have a bit more "miles to the gallon", my car runs around 660km on a full tank (60ltr).
