5517 on it's way to London
Yesterday Philipp and i had a fantastic trip to London... in order to meet with Kamal and deliver my latest watch,.. the 5517 W10 to Rolex London for some major service,... and have some great time in London.
Kamal is so kind to help me to get this done the right way!!! Thanks K,.. i'm so happy your helping me so much!
But the day started early yesterday....
Some chocolade on the way...
And the way right into the city....
And because we landed a bit early... we took some 15 minutes at New Bondstreet... and look what stuck to my wrist there,...
So the last part of the trip towards Kamal's place...
And some last minute preperation to meet Kamal and his lovely wife!!!!!
At Kamal's we had a great time. Thanks again Kamal for your great hospitality and the fantastic watchtalk !!!!!
We also had a look on the ProHunters,.. just wooow.... the GMT >>> killer!!!!!! to me.... and some great watches on the table. The doubleref and 2 5517's... Philipp's brown DRSD thincase and the Tudor BC,.. my PN and the Tudor,... and a fantastic BC!!!! Wow what a beauty!
So from there we went directly to Rolex London,.. what a building!!!
And right into the secrecy of the lounge with the closed doors,.. so you can't see what is behind that.
But i managed to get some shot's!
And the first check-up of my watch...
After that we had a fantastic italian lunch with Kamal... again amazing stories and great talk!
And after that we just dropped of at New Bondstreet again and whent for the shopping/looking thing...
I almost got a very nice watch.... Blackout Explorer with papers.... but just when i was paying we found out that the serialnumber was on one number different on the watch... against it's papers.. ??? quite disapointing,..
But he... it was a fantastic day anyway.... and some other watches made us smile again...
So we went on.... for some shopping for our wifes...
LOOOOL ;D >>> NOT straight back to our stuff again....
Some nice watches there,.. but also some dealers asking prices almost twice of Antiquorum ;D ;D
So the day came to it's end.... and with some sushi in our hands we went back to the airport... just looking at Philipp's Car-moment that day...
And maybe you guy's all find this normal... but i did not see so many Maybach's, Ferrari's, Austin Martin's,..... at one place in one day....
So again Kamal,... so many thanks for your great help and hospitality!
Say hello to you lovely wife and i'm glad your plant's will get healthy again...

Thanks for the fantastic report!
Have been in London for the last weekend but only managed to stand in front of the Rolex building on Sunday with closed doors
... btw, the Rolex-building is not easy to find if you just know the street numberHarald
