Hi Phillip,
those are amazing watches, thanks a lot for sharing.
I have a question, though. I was always under the impression that the Radium on the Radiomir dial does not necessarily further your health. Isn't the dial still radiant and isn't it therefore dangerous to remove the crystal?Viele Grüße,
Simon

Mike, i am really in love with your side picture of...
your 3 Panerai's, what a great & informative picture! very nice to see the ev olution of each model!!

Yes these dials are still giving radiation, some more then others, some could be dangerous wearing all the time giving you 100 times the radiation you may have a day. Worst Gamma radiation are the sandwish dials from the early Radiomir Panerai 3646's [ like mine ; - ( ] giving 14 Micro Sievert. That's 3 times more then the California - Rolex Radium dials and about 20 times more then the Luminor Panerai 6152 dials from 1955... Friend of mine told me that the depth meter and compas are even worse then these measurements....i only wear mine maybe 2-3 times a year & never breath in the little dust that comes of a Radium dial, be carefull!!

Philipp:
that's an incredible collection. How long did it take to get such a collection together? Very impressive to say the least. You could open a museum with these watches!
Cheers, Boris
