Congrats, good for you!
I noticed one thing, though: you know pics are mandatory around here? Couldn´t see any in your post
Anyway, that´s two great watches you got there. Please wear them in the best of times.
Good luck with the 5513 and please keep us posted!

two new family members in 2008
Just got these two new watches in January.
One is a GMT 16700, from 1988 appx. Looks absolutely new, had a 2300 dollar service done at RSC. New bracelet. Just wonderful.
The other one is a Sub 168000 with 9 Mil. Serial. When I bought these two, I thought I'd like the Sub more than the GMT, but the GMT has grown more on me and I may put the Sub back on sale. Not sure yet.
The GMT must have been worn by a woman, the bracelet is so tight, and I just took it to Sutter in Chicago to have two separate links that came with the watch be added back to fit my wrist.
The 16700 came with service papers, service box and a box that did not match the time. The 168000 came with a box that did not match the time either. But I am not a fan of boxes and will probably put them on the Bay to get rid of them.
I eyed a 5513 from 1967, have to see if I get lucky...

RE: pix
Hmm... the links don´t work for me. There are dots insteads of letter in the beginning of the file name. What´s the name of the files?

RE: two new family members in 2008
Volker,
I agree with you! I had a buyer for the 16700, but I could not part with it. Now I decided I want to keep them both. The 16700 is so new, I took it to Sutter in Chicago, and the guy could hardly believe his eyes that the watch looked just like it was made yesterday.
