Zusammenbrechende Bücken sind entweder "crashing" oder "collapsed"

"The brigde is breaking" ist kein Englisch sondern schönstes Denglisch

Broken bridge barrier leads to delay
Drivers using the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol are facing lengthy rush-hour delays because of a faulty toll barrier.

The problem is causing mile long queues at Brunel's celebrated structure.

Engineers have had to send abroad for part of a German-made motor on an automatic barrier on the Leigh Woods side of the bridge, which requires replacing.

Meanwhile motorists are forced to wait while the barrier is opened manually.
