I remember, years ago, on the empire state building, i nearly got a heart attack, when reaching the highest floor with the elevator.
It happend, that i was the person standing closest to the exit door and it was ment as a joke to be welcomed by a liitle "KingKong".
I was so surprised that i screemed out loud, to the biggest fun of everybody else.
Hope you missed that experience

Fantastic post!
I read a lot about the GTG on TZ - unfortunately I couldn´t make it myself...
Your pictures brought a lot of memories: Da Nico´s (which I believe is named after me), the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller, the view from Empire State - great pictures!
