but the 16610 is also in the 1996 catalog with SEL and they start selling it with SEL up from 1999 2000 i think.

well ok. i was so fascinated by the pic that i haven't read the hole posting.

I found it in the 10.1995 catalogue. I don't have the 1.1996.
The next one, I have, is 11.1996, where they have non-SEL again.
