Ross Povey (TudorCollector) in the House...

Last weekend Ross Povey visited me and my family. As we had so much to talk about. Ross is joining the team of B&S and we hope to be able to spread our love for vintage watches, Rolex, Tudor and the lifestyle around collection much more to an wider audience in the near future. Much, much more to come soon. But first some watch fun we had during the visit...




Great to see the brother next to each other. Left is my blue Heritage Chrono. And on the right is the first grey heritage Chrono to be delivered in the world and featured in my review on my blog. I love what Tudor did on their own nato straps. They are superb.

Back then the Heritage was kind of a new concept... re-edition in a cool way. Much cooler then all the pure re-makes other brands do right now. Leaning on the vintage vibe but transform it into our modern living. Well done Tudor!
I don't see why brand just re-build the old watches. But thats me...



And here are 4 cool Tudors. The 2 chrono's and 2 issued MilSub Tudors. The Jamaican Milsub from Ross Povey and an 1975 Tudor MN. On which soon much more images and info will follow. We are working on an grand new Tudor MN article with the latest info. Soon to come...

Another love Ross and i share! Rolex Maxi dials.. the real fat ones. MK 1 Maxi. On the left the 5513 MK 1 Maxi of Ross and my 1680 with the same indexes. I changed the plexi to an #19 super dome. My personal favorite daily beater.






And some more love on the tabel.. my tropical 5512 and a new love of mine. Step case chrono from the 40th. Soon more to follow on them...









And to end the display i am happy to show you an super cool watch from Ross. It shows... that some of these pieces might not be the 'perfect' collectors watch. But oooooohhhhhh such a sexy beast. What more do you want. Its an super nice pointed crown guard Tudor Submariner. With an replacement dial. And so many collectors would call it .. 'no not for me' by cliché.

But when you see it with that replacement dial with such cool patina and perfect looks. And how it matches the strap. You could not wish for more on your wrist. Honestly.





As you see, we love these watches. Just an afternoon of fun at the office / studio.

ich habe es schon ein wenig auf Twitter verfolgt. Freut mich die Kollaboration zu sehen. Ich hoffe ihr lasst mir noch ein bischen Zeit, die Tudors zusammenzutragen, die noch auf meiner Liste stehen, bevor der Hype so richtig los geht.

Ich muss aber anmerken, dass deine 5512 alle anderen Uhren auf dem Tisch weit zurücklässt. Die Uhr ist einfach so ziemlich das coolste, was vintage zu bieten hat. Halt sie gut fest!

P.S.: Schade, dass die Lust an der Monaco dich schon wieder verlassen hat.

freut mich, dass es dir gefällt. PS die Freude an der Monaco hat mich nicht verlassen... aber ich wollte unbedingt eine gilt 5513 Submariner kaufen, bevor die Preise ganz jenseits von gut und böse gehen. Aber um Sie zu bezahlen, musste leider wieder ne andere aus der Sammlung gehen.

Abgesehen mal von allen Investitionen die kommen...

Neuer Shoot,... jede Menge neue Produkte.. Website wird angepasst.. etc.. etc...

Versteh' ich nicht warum der Typ so viele Lederriemen auf die Uhren schnallt, hat der kürzlich eine Kuh geschlachtet?
Ansonsten sind die Uhren selber schon toll.

Die Wecker sind klasse

Alerdings hab ich mich auch schon gefragt, ob ihm die ganzen Stahlbänder vielleicht abgerippt wurden.

Die Heritage Chrono's mag ich nicht auf Stahl.. ganz einfach. Die beiden anderen Tudor sind Militär Uhren.. also auch auf Nato.
Und die Rolex.. ach immer nur Stahl ist Langweilig.. nächste Woche ist es schon wieder anders... Mix and Match.. macht ja Spass.

So hat man immer wieder neue Looks am Arm...

Dieses "Joint Venture" mit Ross Povey klingt äusserst vielversprechend.

Ich bin sehr gespannt wie es weiter geht!

Schönes Sammelgebiet, mir haben bei den Tudors es die beiden Snowflakes besonders angetan.

Aber noch mehr der Step-Case-Chrono! Ich liebe dieses klare Vintage-Design, besonders, wenn sie in Durchmessern > 36mm daher kommen!

Bin gespannt, was uns in der neuen Kooperation noch erwartet...
