Wass denkt ihr wass Rolex in 2011 machen soll?

Ich glaube an die Dauerhaftigkeit der 36mm.

Ich bete sogar nachts dafür - natürlich mit Erfolg.

Was Rolex 2011 machen soll?
Rolex soll vorallem die 34mm und 36mm Uhren weiterhin im Programm belassen.
Eine 41mm ist für "Normale" schon zu groß, und im Alltag hinderlich.
Rolex ist auf den "große Uhren-Zug" sehr spät aufgesprungen, ich bin der Meinung, dass Rolex gar nicht aufspringen hätte sollen.
"Rolex should get out of the "fat watch" market" - wie im anderen Forum schon jemand geschrieben hat.

Why NOT make a "fixed time only" special models dedicated to their past!!!

The enourmous Heritage Rolex has & due to THAT fact they have become
the biggest watchcompany in the world, their urge of innovating and
holding their leading position, compared to other brands it's NOT possible
for Rolex anymore to bring out any limited series in the near future, allthough
they would be VERY succesfull, it would definitly rival the whole collection!

Let's state it differently, Rolex is the only watchbrand that doesn't NEED any
limited editions to be succesful. Knowing that, it's therefor a missed oppertunity
and becomes hard for them to come up with something special that stays in collection
for 10-15 years at least without any 'facelift' or redesign ;-(

One solution could be, bring out a EXTRA special model and tell the world it will be for
sale for ONLY 5 years!! Then production will be stopped, thus limiteds itself by short
production run. Doing this, you will get your classics back & Geneva does not have to change
their policy, just come up with a interesting (won't be hard with all the specials they made )
reunion of a rare reference in a correct bearing heritage design.

Glasböden (wie bei anderen Nobelmarken) und Uhren mit Lederarmbändern

Wenn Glasboden, dann aber bitte nur als Zusatz-Option bzw. Tauschdeckel.
Das hieße für mich: Normalversion = wie bisher mit Metallboden + zusätzlicher Glasboden zum Tausch nach Lust und Laune.
Es hat ja schon einen Grund, weshalb Rolex sich da so unnachgiebig zeigt.
Denn es heißt, dass Öle und Schmierstoffe im Werk durch - auch wenig - UV-Strahlung altern und sich in ihrer Funktionalität verschlechtern (bzw zumindest verändern).
