I hope you did save the pictures of the watch as they are now deleted from the hoster. The watchband looks bad on the picture still showing on ebay. That doesnt excuse the seller from labelling the band as VCG .. very good condition .. I am wondering what they did to that band. That is not even stretch anymore ..
What is the problem with the dial? Is it a real red sub dial which has been relumed. Or is the dial totally fake and why? I know nothing about it, just want to know.
All in all, money attracts scum and more money attracts more scum. Thanks for putting the word out and warn us.beste Grüsse

Ralf,
I´m sorry for you and want to thank for warning us.
May I ask the same question as Andreas: Would you please give us more information about the dials?
Regards

hey guys, its one of the best fakes i have seen in the past. was on pics not to see as i bought. compare both dials on pic. all letters are wrong, coronet is wrong, far left "L" in ROLEX, "6" in 660 feet is wrong, all serifes are wrong, SUBMARINER to far from 660ft = 200m, indexes to close on minuterie

Thank you Ralph for enlightening us. When I see the direct comparison I can also see the difference in the dials. This is really bad. Take a ****ed up watch with an even more ****ed up watchband and put a fake dial in and .. voila we have a collectors dream. A watch with "history" .. Very bad indeed. Even worse, because they certainly knew what they were doing. I hope you can cause them enough trouble so they gladly take that crap back ..
beste Grüsse
Andreas

here for interest too, he was trying to sell the watch couple weeks earlyer with white dial.
click me
i got the complete set like in this pic, box, anchor, ht, seal and polish cloth but with red fu**ing dial...
and the best comes now, he will threaten me and destroy MY name. his words original:
"Your the one making silly black mailing threts, I have been in this game a lot longer than 5 years my friend. I have been told all about your from other dealers. I`ve been warned not to trade with you as your a tricky dealer."

If you are up to organize a r-l-x trip on a group ticket to have this dealer learn behaviour the hard way I'll be happy to join. Well, seriously, what would be a reasonable measurement in such case to deal with that in a fruitful way ? Hence, as there seem to be quite some potential of aggression on the other end, what are you going to do ? I am asking out of serious interest.
Viele Grüße
Michael
