April 14 (Bloomberg) -- Citing demand far above what it had
predicted, Apple Inc. delayed the international introduction of
the iPad by one month, until the end of May.
Apple said that while it’s delivered more than 500,000
iPads in the U.S. during its first week, the demand will likely
to continue to exceed supply over the next several weeks.
