Forum Poem
Forum Poem:
I discovered this forum quite by chance out of boredom,
and haven’t stopped visiting it since.
My passion for knowing will keep on growing
for as long as R-L-X exists.
Information galore and a friendly rapport
are what make the threads so special.
Packed full of photos- exotic, neurotic (my god that one’s erotic!),
what a great way to kill some time!
Factually amusing, I love perusing
the great many topics on offer.
Vintage or modern never causes a problem,
what ever the time of day.
Who needs Mondani when we’ve got Signore Rossi,
Fletch, Hannes, John H., Percy and Ralle;
‘Picky’ Michi, Bulli (I’m not worthy!) and Kamal’s friend, Philipp Stahl, too.
You can tell I’m new ‘cos I’ve only mentioned a few
of the stars that light up my life.
Please tell me guys, what is the secret to spending that kind of money
without ending up divorcing your wife?
Now I hope you’ve enjoyed what had to be said,
in fact I’m glad it is out of my head.
It leaves me more room to dream, when I go to bed,
of that cream dialed Explorer and double red!
Faded, tropic, chocolate or just plain brown,
a gilt dialed Big Crown is what I want to own.
SBS Milsub would also do the trick,
so would a Newman or Comex, take your pick.
If I should fail to attain my grail,
I will not let it bother.
For more important than watches, as far as I am concerned,
is making my wife a mother!
Cheers,
Nick.

nice one Nick
the secret of our hardcore collectors is probably the sentence...darling don´t worry its the same watch as you have seen last time (since they all look similiar to untrained eyes)
good luck to your family projectand don´t forget to put a birthdate watch in your collection for your junior
Grüsse,
Laohu
