I could not believe what I was looking at first! I like your vision in using the date as a design feature.

Here is my customised submariner with the shoulders "shaved" off and the cyclops removed. Making it a modern homage to the 6538.

The lugs are actually spring loaded fixed bars, therefore I can replace them with the originals if I wished to.
