I got those 2 unused dials and the strange thing with the newer one is that the dial is marked SWISS-T<25 but its Luminova?

Is this dial made when Rolex change the Tritium to Luminova?

No, it´s most likely a service dial. The dial manufacturers are known to have used up older allready printed matte dials and put Luminova on them.


Later versions came with the current Swiss Made mark at 6 o´clock.

It´s not like the dials with the white gold surroundings that have the tritium writing and luminova. These were originally placed in the watches during the transitional time.

During the production of the 1680 however only Tritium was used.
