This definately is the right type of box for 1967 for the 5513. But I think there have been other kinds of boxes as well, not sure of the sea horse box was also used for the 5513?
You may want to check the number on the box? If you want to you can send me a PN and I can check with my box if it matches.

RE: 5513 Box ??
Hi Jason,
think for the American one you should be fine with that box showing on your images.
The European one should be the white boxes with the green stripes! Sea horse was starting from 69-70 as far as I remember correctly.
But I'm sure you know how it is with these boxes...just a hassle finding the right ones for the right price
Also looking for a box for the same watch dated 68, so may be we'll find two!!!
If so, please let me know!Lieben Gruss

I agree with Marc... I think if your watch is not US you should look for the white/green stripes box, otherwise the one you've showed is OK!

I've tryed via Google to find a picture... but they all seem to be gone
it's a white outer box, with a green (wide) stripe over the middle. The inner box is the old style cigarette box, with a hard inlay. If I find a picture I'll show it, OK?
About the serials and where the watch was sold... I haven't got a clue if it would be possible to match those two. I don't think you can see where the watch was sold by the serialnumber.
My oldies are both USA, both with the box you've shown above.

RE: 5513 Box ??
Jason,
if you look for a thread that I started with the following name: '5513 eine gute 68er'
you'll see the box and the ref. numbers attached. but this is just for the European market though.
Hope it helps.
Do you have a ref. number on your Amercian box you're presenting above?Lieben Gruss

Hi Jason,
an other option is the box pictured on the left top corner:
The outer box is similar to the one pictured by you but inside is is grey.
This box was used from early to late 60s.
Bye

The serial number definately has no indication as to where the watch was sold. The only way to determine this is with the certificate.
