I am very sorry to hear what happened to you...
Did I get that right?
You bought a watch because of the pics that you saw, and he sent you a watch but that was not the watch you wanted, right? I assume that the seller does not even own the watch himself but that he took the pictures from eBay or something...
So we might come across this watch but the actual owner wouldn´t know that his pictures were used for the fraud.
Please let us know how things turn out.
All the best-
Nico

STOLEN WATCH REPORT, US. Help will be appreciated.
I bought a watch from a non reliable seller in NY, who is not in the business really, I asumed the risk and it turned out bad.
I paid 4k for this 1675, serial allegedly 5562394, I couldn't prove it is really the serial as its the sellers info. Instead of that Gmt a fake Armani horrendous watch was in the box. If at least the replacing watch was nice...

My intention is to put everybody I can aware just in case they come across the watch in any circumstance. I will appreciate any input in private, though of course I will make the issue public once I have more solid conclusions.
Thanks everybody in advance

You got it right...
I bought the 1675 you see in those pics and I received an Armani fake. The seller says he did send the right watch and blames Fedex. Of course as he is not reliable at all I don't buy his story.
I'm sure that the pics were taken by him, as he was an ebay seller and had some positive feedback on Rolex watches and parts in the past. He was kicked off ebay for a second time now, not because my issue.
Of course I will let you know, thanks for the post Nico

Nicolas,
I think it would be wise to let us know who the seller was, so we are at least warned. Otherwise, more of us may fall for the same bad seller.
If he has been on Ebay for a while, I assumethat Ebay shall be able to assist you in tracking him down. Get local police authorities to cooperate with you and you should at least be able to find this man and hopefully get some of your money back.
Good luck.
