    DSSD & Comex

    Rolex state that the new Deep Sea SD has been developed with assistance from Comex. Will we soon see DSSD model's with comex on the dial?

    I think not, because ther is no spache anymore on the dial ! ;-)

    I think that they mention the name Comex mostly for marketing reasons!
    They know the name sells, and that it seems to have a magical attraction to some people who appear to be very sensitive for this word.
    Just my 2cents.

    Well, I thought the same. But the 9 position at the outer case would be ok.

    Well. Can be used as the comex "o".

    There is lot of space on the bezel between the digits. Comex fits in more then once.

    Yeah, but besides some freaks (i.e. us ) who cares? Well, more people than I thought? I just can't imagine that the average Rolex-buyer has even heard of COMEX before ... but now they do ... might give another boost to the vintage COMEX watches

    due to the notch effect, i'd rather not engrave anything on the watch that wasn't initally planned. Would be a bad thing if your watch breaks in that depth and you'll be late for dinner
