10.03.2008, 15:39 #1Doubble feeling on history...This weekend i was looking at my watches,... when i realised.. i own 4 watches military issued, all in the 70th...

So there, right in my youth, they have been part in our history. In the stupidity of war... not having learned anything from what happened 70 years ago.

Each war, only brings losers. And strange to see the last image,... where there is the the history of the war before, that war and right now into our days in it...

I hope we will rise to the challenges of today and act different,.. but he,.. i guess i'm just a dreamer!

These watches remind me of this stories,.. the history, the loss and the individual men and woman who gave so much. In a course the believe in.
But again,.. i hope we find different courses!

11.03.2008, 14:07 #7It had been mentioned in the german version of this thread: These watches, and the soldiers who have been wearing them, went to hell, and were obviously able to come back. Therefore, these watches may be seen as lucky mascots for their original owners. Superlative Grüße, Frank
