Let's see your favorite books on Rolex!
My Rolex library is pretty complete....I don't have the latest update to the Dowling and Hess book, but I do have Vol. I and II of the latest "Collecting Rolex" book series by Osvaldo Patrizi.
Unfortunately, it is hideously expensive.
In the photo below, you can see it the two volume compilation on the right, and I also pulled out a couple of other favorites including the Vintage Rolex Sports Model book I have, and the green book which is my newest book all about the Daytona.

Let's see and hear about some of yoru favorites?

Wow ....do you speak/read Japanese? I have ordered a couple of those books/magazines off the 'bay....fun pictures to look at but not much to read due to the language barrier.

My girlfriend learns Japan, but she´s no help yet

No, the pics are great, and I like the Japanese for their collectors perfectionism!

Well, I do have to admit I've had fun looking at the couple that I've gotten. What are the best/your favorite Japanese books/magazines you have? Any you'd recommend?Originally posted by oyster

Libraries for Rolex mostly look nearly the same. What about your archives?
Here´s mine for Rolex:

And for Omega:

And Breitling:

And for other watches:

The leaflets were collected over the last 30 years and were sourced 90 % from ADs and the watch-companies themselves.
Please excuse the chaotic look of my archives. The pictures where taken during a reorganisation, today my archives are more systematic.

I guess "better" is the wrong word for it, every issue has it´s charme
It also depends on your preferences

RE: Let's see your favorite books on Rolex!
Hi guys,Original von jholbrook
I don't have the latest update to the Dowling and Hess book,
can anyone tell me what the latest edition of Dowling/Hess is? Is third the newest or is there already a 4th edition?
I couldn´t even find it on JD´s homepage...
Thanks-
Nico

To my knowledge the third edition (June 2006) is the latest one ...
