Rolex Sea-Dweller ref. 16660 transitional. Any owners wanna share their pics?

I was fortunate to find a 16660 with matte transitional dial (flat tritium markers sans rimming). I know these are hard to find as most have had their dials exchanged with the modern glossy/WG indices style.

I would really like to see pics from other owners, as I will wait quite sometime to receive this watch.

Also, does anybody know the period of which this model was avaliable prior to introducing the modern dial? 1978-1982 or so?

i think so around 80-82 , but i´m not sure

Hi Hªªgen,

I have a late 1983 with a 8.09 Mil Ser.No. and it still has the matte dial.
A friend of mine has a 8.2 Mil with the WG dial.
So this should be one of the last they made...
