Did you use Babelfish for the translation? Unfortunately it also doesn't work the way back

"Apologies for my poor German, in of Scotland however meant I should an effort form do everyone to know that the teilnummer of the case screw/collar for cal. 1570 into 5512. it the two screws this the safe movement into the clock box are I must a pair however without the number try and find its examination very difficult"

    Do you see our problem?

All jokes aside - try it in English and maybe someone can help you!

sorry for that. how embarrasing. that was perhaps the least sense of anything thing ive ever read.
it was written using an old dictionary and some very weak school german, perhaps id have been better using babelfish....my thinking was those things are usually terrible so id try myself... thank goodness i wasnt stranded in germany and needing assitance is all i can say. id have been better inventing my own language over that.

anyways, i was just wondering if anyone knew the part number for the case screws/collars to secure a cal 1570 into a sub case.
my 5512 has generic watchmaker ones in it and they neither fit right nor look accurate and im trying to source 2 to replace them.
the rolex ones have a sloped collar with a screw through the center but im not having much success and was hoping a part number may help.

ive since found out some more info, that there two options available. part nos 7896 and 7897. apparently one is sloped , the other flat so im unsure which will work. its a 2mill 1969 case if anyone has any other info they can share.

    hi,

now i unterstand the question, but i don't know the answer.

perhaps, you should contact the watchmaker "Andreas", "Inverstor" or "Ibi".

did you asked for the number in the rolex-headquarter of your country?

im glad it finally made sense lol.
ive not tried the RSC in the UK however my experience is that they arent the most helpful with stuff like this.
their answer is always to send it in for a service which carries with it all the worries of putting in old watches with original features if they will even look at them at all

Ahhhh, now your question is clear

Cal. 1570 is based on cal. 1530 so with that info you can find the part numbers you are looking for. Hope that helps:

Here are the earlier part numbers as well - just click:

    harald,

thank you very much for taking the time to post that. ive saved them for my records.
thats much more info than i was hoping for and is a great help.
hopefully now trying to source a pair of the bevelled 7896 screws and a pair of earlier bridle and screws just incase should be much easier.
