Those are both very nice...one day I'd like to throw a leather strap on mine and see how it would look.

I really like the hands on the 1956 model. Is the dial on the newer one the slate grey color? Brown maybe? It's amazing how the 1969 model looks the same as my 1984 model...which looks the same as the 2003 model my boss has.
Hallo,

a Leather Strap looks very nice on a Vintage-Dj. believe me ! Just try it, I think you would like it very much !

The Colour of the Dial of my 1601 from 1969 is hard to describe, but i Try it.

It is golden , but a deeper gold then shown on my 6605 DJ. It´s going into a Bronce Tone. I think the best Discription is Gold-Bronce, if you know what I mean. But it is not dark-Brown !

I love this Dial also very much and I am very proud of it. The watch is in a very good Condition, looks like a new One. The original folded Jubilee has onnly a little stretch and looks also very good.

The Hands of the 6605 are very beautifull in my opinion. I love those both watches very, very much !

Greetings

Walti
