Russia’s richest man and the owner of Chelsea Football Club has switched his family’s summer holiday from Malta to another Mediterranean island of Sardinia due to error made by Maltese supplier while filling his yacht massive tank with fuel, the Times reported.

Roman Abramovich’s 377ft (115m), $130 million Pelorus — the world’s fourth-largest private yacht — was docked in Malta last month awaiting the Russian oil magnate’s arrival on his private jet from the United States, but after a fuel supplier filled her with contaminated diesel, it was sent to Sardinia where the tycoon, his wife and their five children decided to stop at. They had been expected to spend a few days cruising around the former British territory.
