Das 50 1.4 interessiert mich. Ich mache zu 90% inzwischen alles mit dem 55er. Aber das 55er 1.8 ist so genial klein und sauscharf, da weiss ich nicht ob sich der fast 3-fache preis von 1700+ Euro lohnt.

However, peripherally, the 50/1.4 takes a plunge in terms of resolution, and the 55mm F1.8 pulls ahead. the 55/1.8 is a compelling alternative that is lighter and cheaper, while offering smooth background bokeh and impressive, if not necessarily much greater, sharpness wide open. It also focuses significantly faster than the 50/1.4.
Hört sich so an als würde da sich der Mehrwert bei wenigen Prozenten abspielen.
