What a blast it was again to see so many deeply passionated vintage Rolex freaks together!!! Me and Bernhard are yet again very proud that all of you that joined us from around the world!!…http://rolexpassionreport.com/13345/...to-all-of-you/



Seeing new and old friends mixing up, having fun talking detail and our passion, it’s always a big pleasure for me to see everybody is enjoying themselves. Besides the bizarre rare and extraordinary examples from Rolex past that we share all secretly on hidden locations, it’s the mutual trust and international friendship thats so special coming together. Having for instance the hardcore group of VRF (Vintage Rolex Forum) & R-L-X in da house is always big fun!



THANK you VERY much again! I’m very happy to see our Passion Rolex Meetings developed after 5-6 years into a fast moving forwards, strong community of fans & freaks that are very interested in the beauty of vintage Rolex collecting. I personally think it was a very positive passion weekend and I fully enjoyed it with all of you. Hope you have safe travels and see some you soon again! Here are some of my impressions I made i’ll share already online, next days, there will be more of the better photographers that joined us. Es war wieder genial... und so toll, wieder so viele neue Teilnehmer dabei zu haben!!

R-L-X war dieses Mal wieder toll vertreten!! Und auch Percy dabei....


MORE TO COME!!! Denn leider habe ich die kommenden Tage keine Zeit die Huber 700 Bilder zu bearbeiten..... etc.

ja Philipp... wir sind ein wenig Stolz, dass Passion auch nach 6 Editionen noch immer nicht seine Magie verloren hat.

Es gibt nur ein PASSION!!!! wie es sein soll... und dieses Jahr war wieder ein Classic.

Mit jede Menge Spass und tollen Menschen die ganz ungezwungen Ihr Leidenschaft teilen und relaxed geniessen. Und ohne irgendwelche pretentieuse Ambitionen.


Die Omani's etc.. Panerai... so viele tolle Uhren. In unglaublicher QUalituat. Einige 3-6-9 Subs.... mit mint, mint dial.Unglaublich.


Die vintage Patek Moonphase.. etc.. etc...



Danke Allen die dabei waren... und vor allem DETLEV fuhr alle Hilfe bei der organisation in Maastricht!

Philipp, Bernhard und natürlich Detlev.....vielen Dank an Euch für diesen unvergesslichen Tag mit super netten Menschen aus unserem Forum und aller Welt. Uhren....vollkommen crazy, was da zu sehen war und ein visueller Overkill, der mindestens noch einige Tage braucht, um verdaut zu werden.
Es stimmte einfach alles ....Locations, Leute, Uhren...was will man mehr.
Ich bin immer noch mehr als geflasht und schön, dass ich jetzt noch mehr Bekloppte kenne!!!!

Of all the absolutely outstanding watches in this thread, I am coming back to this 1625 again, and again, and again. When I first read the thread on my phone, my first thought was: "How considerate, to bring a standard 1625, that is available for a lot of us, and it seems to be in good shape too."

Then I re-read the thread on my computer using a big screen, and WOW! What to my eyes originally looked like a silver dial is a a white dial with "Datejust" in red, not forgetting the dauphine hands! And the case and bracelet! Pretty much NOS. That 1625 is on my wish list!

So, late last evening I once again revisited this wonderful picture thread, and I realised that I fail to spot lug holes on the 1625, so I must ask myself: Is it white gold?

And if that's the case, then I truly understand why the 1625 has such a shine, and obviously has a given place amongst all the fantastic watches.

Anyone that can offer me more info on this specific watch? Is the owner reading? Pls post more pictures!
