Risky to say on a Rolex forum
The Zenith De Luca first series
* plexi
* El Primero
* first edition had dauphine hands and not the mercedes hands
* no screw down pushers
* not too many text on the dial (only Zenith and automatic, not 'El Primero' and 'chronograph')
* rectangular hour makers and no dots
Made in 1988 and 1989, other versions followed untill 1996.
imo much nicer than this ...
AND........... only a fraction of the price![]()

Nice watch, no question... but not at all as beautiful as a 6263. The dial of the Zenith is too overloaded in my opinion.

If your headline is a question, I would say no
It is not comparable imho, but the Zenith is still a very nice watch, i like the "de Luca", and your photos are greatGruß, Peter

Well, your pics are definitely better than the pics of the 6263
Thanks for that!

Very nice!
I consider the De Luca as a Submariner with a chronograph.
The turnable minute bezel indicates clearly the submariner heritage. One version had even the "Mercedes" indicators.
Cheers,
Bernhard
