A 1982 "Submarine" prototype made for the U.S. Marines. One of only 2 examples, this watch is a fascinating 'futuristic' take on the Submariner. It features extended lugs (with long endlinks on the bracelet to cover them), an asymmetrical case and "U.S. Marines" stamped into the caseback. Needless to say, there is no estimate. The gentleman from Antiquorum told me that some were anticipating a world record for a Rolex with this lot.
