    Your article is very informative. The photo is well done. I personally prefer your pictures with more atmosphere (backgrounds, accessoires, etc.).

    Volker - you can always add that other stuff into a photo, but the key is to properly "light the stage" - this was an experiment to try and get better lighting results.

    I have seen, that you have a light tent. You use diffuse light and perhaps a spot light to bring out special elements or effects. In my oppion your result will be a catalog photo. Perhaps my photo knowledge is limited, so I do not see the problem ("get better lighting results").
    In this article http://www.luxurytyme.com/articles/10.html the last and the third to last picture are more "emotional". And you have taken lots of phantastic photos of this kind.

    To me it's always fascinating how much effort is to be made to take pictures like these, but as the results show... it's all more than worth it. Grand!
