Auf die kulinarischen Tipps meines lieben Freudes (selbst ehemaliger Römer) konnte ich mich bisher
immer verlassen. Für Rom empfiehlt er Dir:



Three great tips in Rome:

1. Da Tonino, Via del Governo Vecchio 16-19, closed on Sundays, no reservation taken. Prepare to
queue during busy evenings. Basic eatery but the food is fantastic (great pasta dishes) and not expensive.

2. Best wine-bar: Divin Ostilia, Via Ostilia 4 (near Colosseo, Celio area); Stefano is the owner, great
wine selection and home made snacks, sliced meats, cheeses, etc. Tables outside. Closed Sundays.

3. Best pizza: Li Rioni, Via SS Quattro 24 (near Colosseo, Celio area); thin, crispy pizzas, simply the
best for me. Tables outside, Closed on Tuesdays. Prepare to queue on week-ends.


To avoid waiting time, in Rome you have a better chance to eat around 7:00-7:30pm.
After 9:00pm it is nearly impossible to find a seat.
