Weekend getaway...

...in Dubai. Da hier ja in letzter Zeit relativ viel ueber Dubai berichtet wird, dachte ich mir, da muss man mal hin......ins Atlantis.

Auf dem Weg zum Atlantis sieht man die "Dubai", die drittgroesste Privatyacht der Welt:

Das Wetter war nicht sooo prickelnd, diesig, Temperaturen um die 42 Grad un deine irre hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit von ueber 80%:

Die Zimmer immer noch OK, wir hatten, da heute Ramadan anfing, ein Angebot wahrgenommen, wo man fuer knapp 200 Euro Zimmer mit Fruehstueck und -wie immer- kostenlosem Zugang zum Aquaventure-Wasserpark und zu den "lost chambers"

Ihr hattet Glueck mit dem Wetter...in der Woche, bevor Ihr in dxb wart, und direkt nach dieser Woche war/ist die Luftfeuchtigkeit exorbitant

"Leap of faith"....man erreicht eine Geschwindigkeit von ca. 60 Km/h und rutscht durch einen glaesernen Tunnel. Theoretisch koennte man die Fische, die einen umgeben, sehen....aber man ist nur ca. 1 Sekunde in diesem Tunnel und die Gischt macht es beinahe unmoeglich.

Bin Ende Juli 36 Stunden da, aber wegen den Fasten Heinis wird das Sicher ein eher ruhiger Abend... :grb:

Wenn Du mit "da" das Atlantis meinst....das ist "Ramadan free zone" :D....hier sind die Buden geoeffnet. Wo wirst Du wohnen ?

Ausserdem ist "Iftar" so gegen 18:30 oder so....da geht's dann normal weiter.

Noch kein Hotel gebucht!

Was darf es denn kosten ?, 4 oder 5 Sterne ? Lage am Strand oder eher mehr zentral ?

Schau Dir mal Mina A'Salam, Al Qasr, The Adress Downtown Dubai und das Armani Hotel an. If money is an issue.....es gibt 4x IBIS in Dubai:D
"The Adress" haette den Vorteil, dass Du nicht so weit zu Wolfgang Puck's Steakhouse laufen musst :ea:

Ich lese gerade "Ende Juli"....da koennte Ramadan schon vorbei sein.
