Yes, Axel ist right - german is even difficult for germans...
Enjoy your time in the forum :dr:
Welcome to R-L-X mate! I'm a Brit living in Deutschland (married one!) and I still struggle with the lingo- der, die or das.... whats wrong with 'the"? :grb:
Joking aside, looking forward to having some good input from a knowledgable watchmaker like yourself.... :ea:
Enjoy this excellent forum :dr:
cheers,
Nick.
Hey Nick, try ancient English, and you will feel right at home. Thou shalt not be confused with the roots of thy native tongue :D :DZitat:

Ok, does not fit the THE problem, but takes care of that ubiquitous YOU.
Good one Axel! However I still struggle with objects having masculinity, femininity or neutrality! Der Vater is obvious, das Land I can accept, but why o why is Vaterland neutral? ;)Zitat:

Only kidding! I love Germany, love the traditions and find the people great! Any Brit who says Germans have no sense of humour has obviously never lived here!!
Damn fine beer too.... :gut:
cheers,
Nick.
Well, I'm not the beer drinker, but that's true for sure. Better than most in any case.Zitat:

As the saying goes:
What is the difference between sex in a canoe and American beer? There is none: both is f..ing close to water

Nice to hear from fellow 'ham'. When I get my G5RV repaired perhaps we can arrange a QSO on '40' or '80'.
73 and good DX. Tylden M0MSF and M1DDY.
DDY was my first call sign - Class B - and MSF is full licence with CW,but I don't use it enough to be very good at it! I am alowed to keep/use both calls so I use MSF (part of call sign of UK Time Signal on LF) on HF and DDY on V/UHF.
Hi Tylden,
nice to meet u here!
Unfortunately my long wire antenna is broken down. All my QSO's are in cw only. The reason: I have a lot o fun with morse code and my vibroplex bug.
Sorry but my english is very bad! =(

Hi Norbert. I will have to brush-up on my CW ( continuous wave or Morse for those who wonder what CW is ) before I force it on you!Zitat:

Please do not apologise for your English, it's very good. 73 M0MSF.
(again, for those who are wondering, '73' is sent in cw to mean 'best wishes', it is internationally accepted and understood by everyone).
To get coherence between ham radio and watches a pic from Submariner LV, Vibroplex "blue racer" and TS830S: =)
