Qasr al sarab in der Wüste

Schon öfter hatten wir über Desert Resorts gelesen und überlegt dies mal auszuprobieren ;). Jetzt war es soweit und wir haben ein ganz besonderes Hotel in einer farbenprächtigen Wüste, sowohl bei Sonne als auch mit Regenschauer erlebt. Sozusagen ein Traum in 1001 Nacht.

Doch Fotos sagen ja wie immer mehr als Worte, also nehmen wir Euch mit auf Foto Wüstentour.
Unser Ziel war die Liwa Wüste, mit dem Qasr al sarab, etwa 3 Stunden Autofahrt von Dubai entfernt.

Eine echte Empfehlung ist es zum Sonnenaufgang die Cameltour zu buchen:D. Es ist noch recht dunkel, wenn man den Ritt auf den Kamelen startet aber die verschiedenen Farben im Licht der aufgehenden Sonnen sind es wert gesehen zu werden:gut:

Insgesamt war es wirklich ein einmaliges Erlebnis, in einem wunderbaren Hotel mit excellentem Service und kulinarisch perfekt:gut:

Hat sogar sehr gefallen, ich mag Wüsten.
Besonders das Bild mit der Wolke die gerade abregnet, wirkt surreal. Phantastisch.
Wie war der Sternenhimmel? Die Wüste ist immer so herrlich frei von störenden künstlichen Fremdlichtern.

Wie ist das Resort besser erreichbar? via Dubai oder Abu Dhabi? Wieviele Tage kann man es dort aushalten?

Hi Stephen, zu Frage 1 - via Abu Dhabi (liegt bei Liwa), zu Frage 2 - 1-2 :D

Hotel war tatsächlich gut besucht, da es aber so um die 40 C war, waren viele am Pool.
Gäste waren aus Europa und auch viele Arabische Familien dort ( da gibts es eh keine Bilder )
Beste Reisezeit ist sicherlich Ende Oktober ( nicht mehr ganz so heiß ) - Ende März
Anreise mit dem Mietwagen,holen Dich auch ab, oder Heli ist auch möglich :D

Magic hat es ja schon geschrieben, von Abu Dhabi so 180 Km , wir waren 3 Tage dort, aber es war einfach noch zu heiß, ist was zum relaxen dort

Wer möchte kann auch Bike Tour durch das Desert machen :D

Es gibt dort für für alles einen Buttler, selbst für die Sonne :D

Wir würden sofort wieder hin fahren, aber erst etwas später im Jahr, war einfach noch zu heiß :supercool:

Ja, November-Januar ist sicher optimal, weil die Luftfeuchtigkeit dann niedrig ist. Momentan ist diese noch hoch und bindet den Staub in der Luft, so dass es immer irgendwie "diesig" aussieht. Spaeter im Jahr haben wir dann auch blauen Himmel mit phantastischen Sonnenunter-/aufgaengen, insbesondere in der Wueste.

Das ist ja mal eine Überlegung wert.
Aber länger als 3-4 Tage könnte ich mir das jetzt auch nicht vorstellen.

Man kann das ja mit einem Dubai-Shopping-/Badetrip verbinden :gut:
