GEIL!
Wow, das ist einfach nur noch geil!
Noch ein wenig extra Info zu den Zeigern,... Kommentar von einem Sammler von einem anderen Forum...
those hands look pretty spot on to me ,in fact just like mine before restoration.!!
i'm probably one of the few people to have had a set under a microscope and examined the plating failiure close up and actually removed some on purpose!!!. The construction is as the rest of the period hands, a brassy like alloy with a rhodioum like overplate.
Maybe it's the oversized amounts of tritium, maybe its just a breakdown in the manufacturing process, but this reaction ( corrosion /oxidisation/ deteriorisation of the plating) is the norm, to one degree or another.
As for the configration of the 5513, I've seen several from original issued service personnel in the 60 min bezel, glad hand configuration and in fact i'd say there were more of this config in collectors hands than the 15 min, merc hand variant. This doesnt for a second mean I think they were all like that though.
The one thing I do expect to find and maybe its just me, is a slight difference in the toning of the hands, they were manufactured sepeartley and distinctly in different countries and probably to a different mix, so I see no reason why they would be indentical in colouring.
