edit: Gerade gefunden: S. 146 in: The Book of Rolex. Evance Edition.
Dort wird das Blatt als
"10 Points Diamonds String Blue Gradation Dial" bezeichnet. Allerdings ist es dort in einer GG DD.

Of all the absolutely outstanding watches in this thread, I am coming back to this 1625 again, and again, and again. When I first read the thread on my phone, my first thought was: "How considerate, to bring a standard 1625, that is available for a lot of us, and it seems to be in good shape too."

Then I re-read the thread on my computer using a big screen, and WOW! What to my eyes originally looked like a silver dial is a a white dial with "Datejust" in red, not forgetting the dauphine hands! And the case and bracelet! Pretty much NOS. That 1625 is on my wish list!

So, late last evening I once again revisited this wonderful picture thread, and I realised that I fail to spot lug holes on the 1625, so I must ask myself: Is it white gold?

And if that's the case, then I truly understand why the 1625 has such a shine, and obviously has a given place amongst all the fantastic watches.

Anyone that can offer me more info on this specific watch? Is the owner reading? Pls post more pictures!

Kurze dumme Frage als Laie: Sind die gilted durch die Sonne so verblichen oder wie kommen dieser Ziffernblätter zustande?

UV dürfte den größten anteil daran haben, dass diese älteren zb-lacke so "leiden".

denk nur an deine kinderfotos aus den 70ern wie die heute aussehen ;-)

Wirklich absolute Wahnsinnsuhren. Hab mir die Bilder jetzt schon zig Male angeschaut und immer wieder klasse!
