Great photos guys....keep 'em coming!! :gut:
Dear John,
looking at the picture of your current collection you posted on the first page of this thread I noticed that you still own that beautiful Red Sub.
I thought that you were going to let it go because you didn´t really catch the fever with tis watch.
On the other hand I remember you owning a white dial EXII - didn´t know you sold that one (it was your first Rolex, right)
But be it as it may....you have a really fascinating collection.
Best regards,
Oliver
Great thread, so here I go. I'm collecting since 2007

In short, I'm on my 2nd Red Sub. :supercool:
The ExpII was my first NEW Rolex, though not my first. I sold it because it wasn't getting much wrist time after I bought my white dial Daytona.
John,
thank you very much for your answer - I followed your link and all I am left to say is: awesome! Just a beautiful watch you have there.
..but this time don´t ever think of selling it again!
Well, here is what I have in my "American" collection... :) The 16700 is flying to Germany to a new owner soon though.

Thanks my friend - I really wanted to get a new watch so I thought I´d go with the good old SubDate - and thanks to the engraved chapter ring, it has a slight touch of modernness.
Can you tell me more about this watch from your collection :
