imho the most beautiful daytona ever!!
is it possible to purchase a porcelain dial and to fit it into a "normal dial" gold zenith daytona and if yes, what would be the cost for it?

Congrats from me, too.
This watch has IMHO a much higher "jewlery"value than some other crowns which carry all types of gem stones.
A real master piece. A treat to watch !!! :gut: :gut:
Yes Jean, if you are persistent , have good friends with good connections, you will certainly find a "porcelain dial" . IMHO it is more a question of patience and dedication than pure money.Zitat:

Like Dieter said in an earlier post, the dial will only be "at home" in an R serial or a very early L serial ( less than L 200 000)Daytona.
The price is hard to foresee but maybe there are porcelain dials owners that are not aware of their good fortune...
Good hunting,

hallo jean,
it is hard to find an original porcelain dial and be carefull, because there are allready some fakes around!!!!!!!!!!!!
recently in an other forum a dial in average condition was sold for close to 10k within a minute!! if you are looking for a dial in good to very goog condition i only can say hurry up.
these dials will be the paul newmans dials of the future. much more atractive and much, much rare!!
and also the gold version (16528) is totaly undervalued.
you only have to compare the value of a 6263/65 and the value of a 6263/8 or 6265/8
