Thanks! I didn't think I'd like diamonds on my wedding band, but my wife is in the jewelry business and got it for me, and I really like it now. :gut:Zitat:

looks very debonaire and stylish. I prefer diamonds in your wedding band over diamonds in your Rolex ;) Btw. I'm in the same branch as your lovely wife. All the best to you guys.
And a handsome woman,...how lucky can a man get!!! ;)Zitat:

Congratulations.
...that is a stellar collection you've got there. I am sure I have seen those pics at another popular (English language) Rolex forum... ;)
I particularly like your DJ. Of course, I am biased as I am also a TT DJ owner! :D
Cheers
I went to college at Oberlin, which just outside of Cleveland.

Welcome to the forum John.
Actually,I have come to know your site months before I discovered this German Rolex community.
I´ve always loved your photographs of your watches ( I have many of them for desktop backgrounds) and the reviews on your site were very helpfull and sometimes pretty amusing lecture.
I think that maybe it is the fault of you taking these Sea-Dweller pics, that I myself bought this watch so quickly.
And I really love it.
I have a little request: maybe could you make a photo for a wallpaper of the Sea-Dweller in a darker lighting so that we can see some lume!!!!
That would be great!!
Thank you for sharing all your experiences you´ve gained while dealing with and collecting Rolex watches - especially for people who are new to the subject (like me) it is a very good thing to be able to hear the impressions of experienced enthusiasts.
I hope you continue your nice artwork and reports for many years to come and wish you much fun hanging around this forum from time to time.
I´m sure you´ll always have a place in this community.
Cheers,Oliver
Thanks so much, and I'm so pleased to hear my site was of use to you. :]Zitat:

I haven't done any lume shots for a while, so I'll have to work on some. :gut:
I pleasantly surprised by the welcome here - I wasn't sure what sort of reception I'd receive, given I only speak English, but my thanks to EVERYONE who took the time to give me such a warm welcome here. :)
Well John,
everytime I get the opportunity to write or speak a littel bit of English I´m really glad.
Communicating in different forums is a great way of practicing a foreign language or preserving one´s level in that language.
And as it happens that English is not my native language, from my point of view you´ll be always welcome to share your opinions on this forum.
Cheers,Oliver
Welcome John, great pics :gut: :gut:
