Danke euch :dr:
As I assume nobody noticed so far when we even dive a little deeper in the Rolex graphic we see above that the MK1.5 and mk2 are NOT using the same Rolex print.

When you zoom in you see above that for instance the E from Rolex is totally different. On the final version the middle bar of the E is way longer then on the MK1.5.

From above line up first you immediately see that the mk1 print is clearly difference then the rest. Between the old thin Rolex print and the newer thick Rolex print is a huge difference. A new question pops up in my head and as other collectors have asked me as well, are there “halo” on a mk1.5 or even on a mk1?
With other words, did Singer take of the total print of an earlier donor Paul Newman dial to reprint a Oyster style logo on it?? Find below an picture of a MK1.5 which indeed is having a “halo” as well as the MK2’s ….

I’ll further investigate if the "halo" is also on the MK1 Oyster PN print.
If you’re so lucky to own a Oyster Paul Newman please check if your dial is having a „halo” as well and show it here online.
