Dann ging's zum "helmet diving". Man bekommt diesen ca. 30 Kg schweren Helm auf, der einen nach unten befoerdert, hier ca. 8m bis zum Meeresgrund. Das Teil ist mit einem Schlauch und einem Kompressor verbunden, so dass im Helm ein Druck aufgebaut wird, vergleichbar mit dem Druck im Flugzeug.

Das Meer ist immer noch so sensationell und der White Beach ist nach wie vor weiß.

Wir hatten Boracay von vielleicht 15 Jahren besucht. Keiner vermietete Liegen am Strand und die Bars, Restaurants, Shops, etc. lagen nicht direkt am Strand. Da gab es den dichten Palmenhain und den Strand. Die wenigen Bars, etc. lagen alle in gewisser Entfernung dahinter. Boote lagen auch dort, aber es waren nur eine handvoll. Die Unterkünfte bestanden bis auf ein Hotel, aus Bambushütten. Die Zeit vergeht und nichts ist so beständig wie die Veränderung. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich nach diesen Bildern nochmal nach Boracay möchte. Ich habe mal ´was von Malapascua gehört......

Ich habe mir gerade mit meiner Frau die Bilder angeschaut und wir beide haben exakt das gleiche gesagt. Vermutlich würde uns Boracay heute nicht mehr so gut gefallen wie damals, 1998.

Besten Dank fürs mitnehmen. Da lebt man schon in Asien und hat so viele schönen Dinge noch nicht gesehen, ich muss unbedingt mal auf die Philipinen!!
