I am not quite sure, but as far as i remember the former Explorer was released by Rolex with a leather strap or oyster bracelet by choice of the customer. (maybe in the 60s ?)
In my opinion the Explorer looks until now GREAT with leather strap.
And: I am not a golf player, but have a feeling that it should wear very well on the green aswell (if not better than the SD) ;)
On the other hand she is a perfect understatement.
