Seiko Spring Drive

Just found this movie where the Spring Drive Technology of Seiko is explained so that the whole technology becomes easier to understand.
Even though I wouldn't spend that sort of money for such a watch, it is never the less impressive to see how ingenious this solution is.

Thanks for posting - Seiko definitevly is a watchmaker with history - didn't know tht the Spring Drive had such a long development phase ...

I'm scheduled to go to Tokyo in a couple of months and tour Seiko's production facilities. Trip report to follow of course. :D

seiko is perfect love almost all their models.
