As you may know the GMT 16710 is right now delivered with two different dials.
Here´s a direct comparison for you.
Both are Z-series and both are from 2007

Well done Hannes !
Thanks for sharing this fantastic comparison :gut:
Nice comparision, are these dials distributed equal or is one of the 2 the mainstream dial and the other "rare"?
Gruss,
Johan
Good question. I don´t know :ka:
LOL. Ok, so now, someone tell my why the 1 "inhouse" factory is building dials with 2 different setups.... Maybe its because.... No....It coudlnt be.....

This phenomenon does not only belong to the GMT.
We also found different dials on the Sub LV and on the Sub Non Date.
But the GMT dials are extrem different
Well, that´s Rolex =)
funny... ;)
surely future Collectors will raise an eyebrow when looking to the left dial in 20 years :D
Thanks Hannes!
I presume it would be better for Rolex to maintain only one dial, for it is sometimes already difficult to discern between genuine and fake. These differences will probably cause more confusion in due time :op:

Hans
