BMW says to keep around 4000 for the first 1000 miles, which we basically did...we only went a bit above that for a brief time. Had to take advantage of being on the Autobahn. :ea:Zitat:

John, for "driving in" you normally can say: max rev's are 2/3 of top-revs (until the read area), when the engine is "warm" - so there is no problem for a bit above 4000. ;)
I'm still waiting for the fourth day. :D
