OK, the floor repairs & remodeling are DONE!
Hey guys! :)
As you may remember, about 3 weeks ago we discovered that our new washing machine (located in the kitchen) has slowly been leaking water, which damaged the floor as well as the ceiling in the basement. :(
We made an insurance claim and adding some funds to it, replaced the pergo floor in the great room area with a nice Brazilian Cherry hardwood. :P My wife, being the "handy person" in our marriage, decided while the house was torn up anyway, to sand and paint the kitchen cabinets white. :thumbsup:
