Q about 142 St S black surface

Dear Forumners!

I'm about to buy the black galvanized Sinn 142 on bracelet. Any opinion is kindly welcome on how sensitive this black layer is when scratches or dings, how easily and for what cost can be the layer (case and bracelet) re-newed, and if someone decides to get rid of the black surface, can it be done to "free" the watch and bracelet from that layer and to have the beadblasted (or after re-work) brushed surface?
