The moonwatch is probably the most tested watch in the world (NASA). Is it the best watch in the world or is a rolex better? (in quality I mean).When I say rolex I think on a sub or sd. I know these are diving watches but they look a little bit like the moonwatch.

well...they both work, they are reliable work horses and no beauty queens.
Both stood the test of time.

Im Übrigen war ja nicht nach schön und hässlich gefragt, sondern nach dem "besten". Und da brauchen wir ja nicht weiter diskutieren - die Lager sind bekannt. ;)
Und dass die Moonwatch ein bisschen wie die Sub aussähe - :rolleyes:
Und ein Dreizeigerwerk mit einem Chronographen zu vergleichen - :rolleyes:
Und zu meinen, man kann "die beste" Uhr definieren - :rolleyes:
Und zu meinen, die Entscheidung spiele sich nur zwischen der Moonwatch und der Rolex ab - :rolleyes:

Planning for a weekend on moon, you should better go with the speedy .......... wanna go to praia do latino ... maybe take the sub - she is better there.
So just decide on your self, on which way youre more often in action ;)

maybe I have to ask another question. Suppose I want to travel the world in all different kind of climatologic conditions. Wich of the 2 will be the best? :rolleyes:
The SUB becouse of the rain and humidity.
But let me ask, why are you using Zenith as a brandidentification for your thread?

ich versuche es mal in der Forums-Amtssprache deutsch:
Im Januar habe ich beschlossen einem langgehegten Wunsch zu erliegen und mir endlich eine schöne und gute neue Uhr zu gönnen. Ich wurde in diesem Jahr schließlich 40 und es sollte schon etwas besonderes sein.
Als Omega-Fan war die Frage nach dem Ojekt der Begierde schnell beantwortet: Eine Omega Speedmaster Professionel! Schließlich ist dies immer noch die einzige Omega Uhr im aktuellen Sortiment, die dauerhaft nicht dem Ungeschmack der Zeit unterworfen wurde. Die Speedy ist traumhaft schön, klassisch, erstklassig gearbeitet und wird sich auch in 30 Jahren noch ohne weiteres tragen lassen.Sie ist immer ein Hingucker.
Auf der anderen Seite ist da ROLEX. Wie kann man sich gegen eine Rolex entscheiden (und dann, wenn meine Frau auch noch Budget-technisch der Anschaffung einer doppelt so teuren SubD, SD oder GMT2 zugestimmt hat!)!?
Da half nur ein direkter Vergleich beim Konzessionär und ich muß sagen, die Omega hat (hatte) gewonnen. Haptik, Größe und Gesamteindruck waren für mich bei der Speedy einfach stimmiger und das lag nicht nur am Band.
In diesen Tagen bin ich dann auf dieses Forum gestoßen: R-L-X!!
Wunderbare Menschen, mit einem riesigen Wissensschatz, mit einer ebenso großen gemeinsamen Leidenschaft für Rolex-Uhren! (Ich kürze das an dieser Stelle...)
Nach vielen Fragen und vielem Lesen, hat mich die Pandemie erreicht, ich war und bin Rolex-infiziert.
Und was mache ich? Ich kaufe mir die Speedy trotzdem!
ABER:
Ich habe auch schnell gemerkt, daß man sich nicht für die eine oder andere Uhr entscheiden kann. Und schon gar nicht gegen eine Rolex. Man muß sie beide haben!
Ein hier oft gelesener Rat lautet: Kaufe Sie beide, früher oder später!
Und genau auf diesem Wege bin ich...

Thanks for your answer. I do not understand everything but I think that it was a problem for you to make a choice. Last year I had the two watches but I sold them. But know I want them again. I can't buy them all together so I have to make a choice.
