Rolex 16803
Hi All,
I do not post here that often but wanted to share my newest purchase, the Rolex Submariner 16803.
It was originally mine but I sold it in 2011 and quickly regretted it. Fortunately the owner contacted me again a few days ago and offered me the possibility to buy it back which I immediately did :-)
What makes this 16803 so special to me is the fact that the blue dial has faded to a very nice and deep purple color. This combined with the yellowish tritium markers and hands and the champagne date-wheel with open '6' and '9' makes the watch quite unique.
What is even nicer is that the watch is still a full set with all boxes and papers as well as the gold anchor.
